Congressman Cohen Announces $922,311 in U.S. Department of Education Grants to the University of Memphis

WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-9) today announced three U.S. Department of Education Student Support Services Program grants totaling $830,837 to the University of Memphis. A fourth grant, for $161,474, is from the Long-Term Training – Rehabilitation Counseling Program.

Congressman Cohen made the following statement:

“I am always pleased to see substantial federal investments at the University of Memphis. The grants will help ensure that vulnerable and disabled students receive the support they need to stay in school, succeed academically, and ultimately earn their degrees.”
