Fifteen measures have now been signed into law
WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) co-sponsored the highest number of bills that became law in 2019, according to GovPredict, a legislative analysis software company. Congressman Cohen also had a bill he sponsored – H.R. 3304, the National Guard and Reservists Debt Relief Extension Act – signed into law last year.
Congressman Cohen made the following statement:
"I'm proud to have co-sponsored important legislation that is now law and pleased to see it recognized. Among those measures were H.R. 1327, the Never Forget the Heroes Act, permanently authorizing the 9/11 Victims Compensation Fund; H.R. 3311, the Small Business Reorganization Act; H.R. 3151, the Taxpayer First Act; and H.R. 724, the Preventing Animal Cruelty and Torture Act. I monitor legislation and support bills that benefit our district by co-sponsoring these bills to help see them become law."
