WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-9) today announced that St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital will receive two grants from the National Cancer Institute and that the University of Memphis will receive one grant from the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism.

WASHINGTON -- Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-9) today voted against the massive, $1.15 trillion National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) which included the SAVE Act requiring proof of citizenship to vote in federal elections, a major Trump priority.
The measure passed on a vote of 216 to 212.

WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-9) went to the House floor this morning to make a speech condemning the Donald Trump-Pete Hegseth war against Iran and its exorbitant expense.
In his remarks, he said in part:
WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-9), a senior member of the Judiciary Committee, today denounced the immigration policies of the Trump administration including a proposal to deny legal representation to children facing deportation.
He said President Trump should resign.
