Human Trafficking Awareness Training

On Wednesday, April 6, 2016 from 8:30am-12pm, I, along with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, am hosting a Human Trafficking Awareness Training at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Special guests will include representatives from the Department of Homeland Security, state and local law enforcement, the medical community and local organizations to discuss the importance of and the strategies to combat human trafficking. The event is open to the public and law enforcement, health care organizations, first responders, faith-based organizations, educators, NGOs, and state and local government representatives are encouraged to attend.
