Fighting for our Nation's Veterans

Our nation's veterans put their lives on the line to secure our freedom and our safety, and we must do all that we can to repay their sacrifices and help them get back on their feet when they return home. Read about the Putting Our Veterans Back to Work Act that I introduced this week.

Supporting the President's New Direction on Cuba

I support the President's efforts to improve our relationship with Cuba and was pleased to join Congressman Rangel this week in introducing the Free Trade with Cuba Act to lift the Cuban embargo. Read about the legislation here.

Help Bring First Lady Michelle Obama to Memphis!
