Cohen Earns Perfect Score on National Food Policy Scorecard for 114th Congress

[WASHINGTON, D.C.] – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today received a perfect 100% score from Food Policy Action on their 114^th Congress National Food Policy Scorecard. The Congressman was the only member of the Tennessee Congressional Delegation to receive a 100% score.

“I am proud to receive the only perfect score in the Tennessee Congressional Delegation on the 114^th Congress National Food Policy Scorecard,” said Congressman Cohen. “I will continue to support policies that reduce hunger and promote healthy living in the United States.”

Food Policy Action aims to highlight the importance of policies that promote healthy diets, reduce hunger at home, ensure healthy food is affordable and accessible, and examine the environmental impact of farming and food production. The National Food Policy Scorecard for the 114^th Congress rates specific legislation regarding food policy issues like hunger, food access and subsidies, nutrition, food additives, food transparency, the effects of food production on the environment, and a multitude of other measures.
