Congressman Cohen Announces $1.4 Million Grant to Promote Black Wealth Advancement

Commerce Department funding awarded to the University of Memphis
WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that the University of Memphis will receive a grant of $1,400,393 for a project promoting Black wealth advancement under the direction of Management Professor Kurt Kraiger from the U.S. Department of Commerce.
Congressman Cohen made the following statement:
“This investment in advancing wealth creation in the Black community will change lives for the better. I congratulate the University of Memphis and Professor Kraiger for undertaking this innovative project.”
