Congressman Cohen Announces $1.8 Million in Grants for Scholarships at University of Memphis

MEMPHIS – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that the University of Memphis will receive $1,860,725 from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for scholarships for disadvantaged students.
Congressman Cohen made the following statement:
"This funding for scholarships for disadvantaged students at the U of M is money wisely spent. The students benefitting from these scholarships will improve their prospects for the future and strengthen our entire community."
