Congressman Cohen Announces $2.5 Million Grant to University of Memphis
WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that the National Science Foundation has awarded the University of Memphis a grant of $2,584,309 for a project entitled “The Learner Data Institute: Harnessing the Data Revolution to make the Learning Ecosystem more Effective, Efficient and Engaging.” The project is directed by Computer Science Professor Dr. Vasile Rus.
Congressman Cohen made the following statement:
“Making the learning experience more effective and engaging benefits both students and teachers. I am pleased this National Science Foundation grant is making a significant investment in the University of Memphis, and I am confident this research will prove invaluable.”
