Congressman Cohen Announces $273,000 NIH Grant to St. Jude

WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-9) today announced that St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital will receive a $273,000 grant from the National Institute on Allergy and Infectious Diseases to study hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis.

Congressman Cohen made the following statement:

“I am pleased to see the National Institutes of Health investing in this critical research on a rare blood disease that typically affects infants and young children. St. Jude scientists working in their labs are saving lives and improving outcomes every day.”
