Congressman Cohen Announces $367,500 Grant to the Shelby County Board of Education

MEMPHIS – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-9) today announced that the Shelby County Board of Education will receive a $367,500 grant to improve adolescent health from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Center for Chronic Diseases Prevention and Health Promotion.

Congressman Cohen made the following statement:

“Students who stay healthy in school perform better and live more fulfilling and successful lives. I am pleased to see the CDC investing in the health of our adolescents.”
