Congressman Cohen Announces $491,400 in Grants to St. Jude

MEMPHIS – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-9) today announced that St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital will receive two grants, for $245,700 each, from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. One grant will support research in trivalent live attenuated vaccines and the other will support research on Streptococcus pneumoniae.

Congressman Cohen made the following statement:

“I am always pleased to see the National Institutes of Health invest in research being conducted by our premiere children’s research hospital. The discoveries St. Jude scientists will make from these grants will advance our knowledge and lead to better health outcomes.”
