Congressman Cohen Announces $764,284 Grant to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

MEMPHIS – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital will receive a $764,284 grant from the National Institute of General Medical Sciences for research on the structure and functional mechanism involved with molecular chaperones and protein kinases.

Congressman Cohen made the following statement:

“I am always pleased to see the National Institutes of Health investing in complex medical research at our premier children’s research hospital. This work will result in important breakthroughs in our understanding of biochemistry and lead to life-saving therapies. I commend St. Jude for taking on this important work.”
