Congressman Cohen Announces $915,604 Grant to UTHSC

Supporting medial research work with inhaled nitrous oxide
WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-9) today announced that the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) will receive a grant of $915,604 from the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute for research on “Inhaled Nitric Oxide for Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia.”
Congressman Cohen made the following statement:
“I’m always pleased to see one of our prestigious National Institutes of Health investing in research at our Memphis medical school. I’m confident the research this grant supports will lead to important insights, potential therapies and a better outcome for future patients.”
