Congressman Cohen Announces Aging Grant to St. Jude

WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-9) today announced that St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital will receive a $455,000 grant from the National Institute on Aging to study the regulation of proteostasis and tauopathy by maltose-induced signaling.

Congressman Cohen made the following statement:

“This grant award supports important research being done at the cellular level by St. Jude scientists. I’m pleased to see this investment by one of our National Institutes of Health that helps researchers advance knowledge and potentially save lives.”
