Congressman Cohen Announces Cancer Research Grant to St. Jude

MEMPHIS – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-9) today announced that St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital will receive a $601,250 grant from the National Cancer Institute for a project entitled “Discovering the mechanisms underlying oncogenesis by ZFTA-RELA and pinpointing therapeutic targets.”

Congressman Cohen made the following statement:

“I am always pleased to see the National Cancer Institute supporting St. Jude’s ongoing mission to improve therapies and save lives. St. Jude’s record is world-renown and this grant will help contribute to future successes.”
