MEMPHIS – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) will receive a $646,023 grant from the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute to conduct new research on cholesterol regulation.

Congressman Cohen made the following statement:

"It's encouraging to see our Memphis medical school continuing its pioneering research in the midst of this pandemic. I commend the researchers working to understand and devise therapies in this important area of medical science."
