Congressman Cohen Announces COVID-19 Vaccination Grants to Memphis Health Center and Tri-State Community Health Center

WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that Memphis Health Center will receive $515,258 and Tri-State Community Health Center will receive $139,472 to expand their COVID-19 vaccination capacities. Congressman Cohen announced on Wednesday the same type of grant from the Department of Health and Human Services to Christ Community Health Service for $596,740.

Congressman Cohen made the following statement:

“These grants to increase the capacity of our community health centers in preventing COVID-19 will reach some of our most needy residents and will help keep our communities healthy. COVID infections are increasing and expected to continue. Get vaccinated.”
