Congressman Cohen Announces Cyberinfrastructure Grant to University of Memphis

WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09), a member of the House Science, Space and Technology Committee, today announced that the University of Memphis will receive an $850,000 grant from the National Science Foundation's Office of Advanced Cyberinfrastructure for research on mobile health data management.

Congressman Cohen made the following statement:

"I'm pleased that the U of M is receiving this substantial investment in cyberinfrastructure research during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Work on mobile health data will help in health care decision making and will ultimately protect patients' privacy. I congratulate the U of M on this National Science Foundation recognition."
