Congressman Cohen Announces Epilepsy Research Grant to UTHSC

WASHINGTON – Congressman Cohen (TN-9) today announced that the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) will receive a grant of $385,000 for research on epilepsy from the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke.

Congressman Cohen made the following statement:

“Understanding epilepsy is critical in formulating therapies to address it. I’m pleased to see our Memphis-based medical school working to address this disease and ultimately improve outcomes.”
