Congressman Cohen Announces Grant to Dextrous Robotics

MEMPHIS – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-9) today announced that Dextrous Robotics Inc. has received a $999,746 grant from the National Science Foundation for a project entitled “Automated Perception for Robotic Chopsticks Manipulating Small and Large Objects in Constrained Spaces.”

Congressman Cohen made the following statement:

“Advanced robotics is the future of the logistics industry, and this prestigious National Science Foundation grant will propel Dextrous Robotics, which moved to its new Midtown location in April, to a higher level. I congratulate the company and its employees for this significant recognition of excellence.”
