Congressman Cohen Announces National Science Foundation Grant to the University of Memphis

Research involves Computer Science research applications
WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that the University of Memphis will receive a grant of $174,960 from the National Science Foundation (NSF) for a projected entitled “CRII: III: Metadata-guided Imbalance-Modeling for Robust Computational Healthcare” under the direction of Department of Computer Science Assistant Professor Xiaolei Huang.
Congressman Cohen made the following statement:
“The University of Memphis Department of Computer Science and Professor Huang are justifiably proud to be receiving this prestigious National Science Foundation research grant. Data-driven health care research is likely to unlock important discoveries and improve health outcomes. I commend the University and Professor Huang on this achievement.”
