April 29, 2019

Reisha Phills Buster returns to position she held 2009 to 2013

WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) is pleased to announce that his former Legislative Director, Reisha Phills Buster, is returning as Legislative Director. Her first day back is today.

Ms. Buster is a 1998 graduate of New York University and received her Masters Degree in Public Administration from American University in 2004. Prior to her duties in Congressman Cohen's office from January 2009 to March of 2013, Ms. Buster worked as Legislative Director for former Representative Rob Andrews of New Jersey (2007-2008), as a Legislative Assistant for Representative Gwen Moore of Wisconsin (2005-2007) and as a Deputy Press Secretary for former Representative Donald Payne Sr. of New Jersey (2004-2005).

Ms. Buster returns to her previous position replacing Matthew Weisman, Congressman Cohen's Legislative Director and Counsel, who has taken a position with the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. We thank Matt for his outstanding service and are thrilled to have Ms. Buster return.
