Congressman Cohen Announces Research Grant to St. Jude

WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that St. Jude Children's Research Hospital will receive a $652,585 grant from the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute for research on the blood disorder thalassemia.
Congressman Cohen made the following statement:
"I am always pleased to see the NIH invest in medical research at our premier children's research hospital. The science supported by this research grant will help young patients and ultimately save lives."
