Congressman Cohen Announces Research Grant to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that St. Jude Children's Research Hospital will receive a $416,325 grant from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) to conduct research entitled "The Role of Immature Tumor Subpopulations in Pediatric Rhabdomyosarcoma." This is the third NCI grant to St. Jude Congressman Cohen has announced this week.

Congressman Cohen made the following statement:

"I am always pleased to see the National Institutes of Health investing in research at our premier children's research hospital. This week alone, I have announced $1,566,776 in pediatric research grants to St. Jude. This funding will advance science and save lives."
