Congressman Cohen Announces Rural Health Network Development Grant to Le Bonheur Community Health and Well-Being

MEMPHIS – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-9) today announced that Le Bonheur Community Health and Well-Being will receive a $100,000 grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration to develop a rural health care network.

Congressman Cohen made the following statement:

“The goal in creating an integrated and collaborative rural health care network is to achieve efficiencies, expand access, improve quality of care and generally strengthen the rural health care system. I’m pleased Le Bonheur Community Health and Well-Being is receiving this planning grant to develop such a network, which is critically needed in our region.”
