Congressman Cohen Announces Therapeutic Genome Editing Grant to St. Jude

WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-9) today announced that St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital will receive a $479,100 grant from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases to conduct therapeutic genome editing research.

Congressman Cohen made the following statement:

“I am pleased to see one of our premiere National Institutes of Health supporting this advanced medical research at St. Jude. This funding will keep scientists in their labs and ultimately improve health outcomes.”
