Congressman Cohen Applauds Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act
WASHINGTON – Just hours before President Biden is expected to sign the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act into law, Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09), a senior member of the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, spoke from the House floor about the important elements in the bill the House passed on November 5.
In those remarks, Congressman Cohen said in part:
“This is what used to be bipartisan – people working together to get the infrastructure of our country to move goods to ports, goods to people. It makes our country tick, helps business, puts jobs together. This is an important bill. A Democratic Congress with 13 Republicans passed it. It’s a great day to celebrate. America is on the move again.”
