Congressman Cohen Applauds Naming Fulton Chairman of MATA Board

MEMPHIS – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-9) applauded the selection of his former Washington-based transportation staffer Michael Fulton as the new Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Memphis Area Transit Authority (MATA) and made the following statement:

“Michael Fulton was a great staffer and is a true expert on transportation issues. He will make an excellent choice as Chairman. He has adapted well to Memphis and has become a leader in a short number of years -- not only through his position as government affairs director at the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority but also through his activities in the community as a private citizen. MATA is in good hands with this outstanding choice.”
