Congressman Cohen Celebrates Labor Day

MEMPHIS – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-9) recognized the annual Labor Day holiday on Monday, September 4, with the following statement:

“Labor Day traditionally marks the end of summer and the start of a new school year and provides an opportunity to appreciate all that the working people of this country do every day. Dr. King reminds us that ‘all labor has dignity.’ The pandemic and other stresses, such as working from home and observing public health protocols, have made work-life balance more difficult in recent years, but it is important to maintain a healthy perspective. American workers deserve our recognition this Labor Day, and every other day, as our nation enjoys the fruits of their labor. I wish all my staff, constituents, and friends a safe and happy holiday.”
