Congressman Cohen Extols Justice Department, FBI

Condemns President’s attacks on Rosenstein, Mueller and Wray
WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) went to the floor of the House today to praise the work of Special Counsel Robert Mueller, Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray and to commend the professionalism and courage of Justice Department officials pursuing a criminal investigation of Trump lawyer Michael Cohen that appears irksome to President Trump. "The President said when the warrant was issued on his attorney's office for his materials that it was ‘an attack on our country.' In my opinion, that statement and the attacks on our Justice Department and our FBI and on Mr. Rosenstein and Mr. Mueller and Mr. Wray – those were the attacks on our country," Congressman Cohen said.
"Attorney-client privilege is alive and is being dealt with in the proper fashion in Judge (Kimba) Wood's courtroom," he added.
