Congressman Cohen Saddened by Youth Football Bus Accident

Orange Mound team was returning from a championship game in Texas
WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) expressed his condolences to the family of the youth football player who died in the predawn bus accident in Arkansas this morning and said his thoughts are also with the children injured in the accident and their families.
Congressman Cohen released the following statement:
"I am saddened to learn about the terrible accident that cost the life of an Orange Mound youth football player this morning. My deepest sympathy goes to his family and friends. The team was representing one of the heartbeats of our community, historic Orange Mound, and my thoughts are with the many reportedly injured in the accident and their families."
