Press Advisory: Congressman Cohen to Discuss CAAP Inc. Cocaine and Alcohol Awareness Funding He Secured

MEMPHIS – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-9) will hold a press conference with Cocaine and Alcohol Awareness Program (CAAP) Inc. on Monday to discuss the $671,000 he was able to secure through the annual appropriations process for targeted community projects. CAAP Executive Director Albert Richardson, Criminal Court Judge Jennifer J. Mitchell and others will be available to describe the program and outreach it performs to provide residential, alternative-to-incarceration efforts in partnership with the Tennessee Department of Correction.

What: A press conference to discuss funding for CAAP Inc.’s programs supported by community project funding secured by Congressman Cohen. The press availability will include a tour of the site but photography inside is strictly forbidden.
