Cohen Announces $327K in New Federal Funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

“By helping St. Jude with funding for research, we help save children’s lives,” said Congressman Cohen. “This funding will give doctors, researchers and scientists the tools they need to help children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases.”

The National Institute of General Medical Sciences is part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and supports research that lays the foundation for advances in disease diagnosis, treatment and prevention. NIH is the primary agency within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services responsible for biomedical and health-related research.
