Cohen Hosts 3rd Annual 9th District Office Issues Meeting

MEMPHIS, TN. – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-9) today hosted his 3rd annual District Office Issues Meeting, welcoming more than 100 Memphians to his federal office to discuss issues that matter most to them and the 9th District.

“Hearing what my constituents have to say about the issues is very important to me,” said Congressman Cohen. “I discussed a number of issues with 9th District residents today, including how best to create jobs, improve the economy, combat the foreclosure crisis, keeping and strengthening the Health Care Act, and how best to help veterans. Hearing what Memphians think about the issues helps me better represent them in Congress.”

As with traditional town halls and tele-town halls, the annual 9TH District Office Issues Meeting offered an opportunity for direct dialogue between the Congressman and 9th District constituents.
