Cohen Statement on Fatal Shooting of MPD Officer Sean Bolton

[MEMPHIS, TN] - Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09), former legal advisor for the Memphis Police Department, issued the following statement regarding the shooting of Officer Sean Bolton:

"The murder of Officer Bolton is sad for his family and the entire Memphis family. The death of any law enforcement officer in the line of duty is a sobering reminder of the very real dangers our policemen and women put themselves in each and every day to protect our community. My thoughts are with his loved ones, for whom I will fly a flag over the U.S. Capitol in his honor and deliver to them."
