May 15, 2008

“This event is a great opportunity to continue our dialogue on the most pressing issues remaining before the 110th Congress,” said Congressman Cohen. “And I look forward to hearing about matters of importance to the people of the 9th District.”

On Monday night, Congressman Cohen held a public meeting at the Memphis Botanic Gardens, attracting more than 100 participants. There was also a presentation on summer energy-saving tips by a representative from the Tennessee Valley Authority.

Since taking office in January 2007, Congressman Cohen has hosted 11 public meetings in locations all around the 9th Congressional District, giving his constituents the opportunity to interact with him and his staff, as well as provide constituent service.
