Congressman Cohen Receives Award from Trinity Community Coalition Outreach
WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Saturday at 3 p.m., Congressman Steve Cohen (D-TN-9) will receive an Appreciation Day Award from Trinity Community Coalition Outreach (TCCO) for his work to combat drug and alcohol abuse, recidivism and homelessness.
“Trinity Community Coalition Outreach provides a valuable service to the community,” said Congressman Cohen. “Whether it is helping someone battle drug or alcohol abuse or helping someone find someplace safe to sleep, it is a pleasure and an honor to help Trinity Community Coalition Outreach any way I can.”
“Congressman Cohen has always been there for Trinity Community Coalition Outreach because we know he cares about the people,” said Linda Segrest, Executive Director of TCCO. “We are happy to present him with this award for his outstanding service to the community and look forward to working with him in the future.”
Founded in 2007, TCCO provides “Holistic” family services under a group of programs known as Project Opportunity. The group’s mission is to empower people mentally, physically and spiritually so they can become productive, effective, self-sustaining members of society.
