Congressman Cohen to the Troops: We Wish You Were Home for Christmas

“As Elvis would say, it’s going to be a ‘blue, blue Christmas without you,’” said Congressman Cohen during the taping. “We wish you were home.”

“Our fighting men and women have been serving bravely in Iraq and Afghanistan for far too long, and I know they wish they could be with their families this holiday season,” added Congressman Cohen. “I hope these messages let them know that we’re thinking about them and fighting for them here in Washington. Next year, hopefully I’ll get to wish them Happy Holidays in person.”
