Congressman Steve Cohen to Host October 20th Town Hall Meeting with Special Guest Emanuel Cleaver II
Washington, D.C. - Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-9) will host a Town Hall Meeting from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, October 20 at LeMoyne-Owen College’s Alma C. Hanson Student Center, 807 Walker Avenue. Special guest will be Congressman Emanuel Cleaver, II (MO-5).
Congressman Cohen stated, “Hearing constituents’ concerns and ideas for me to take back to Washington, D.C. is at the very heart of my job as the District 9 representative. Since the district office maintains an ‘open-door’ policy regarding constituent attentiveness, the district staff will also be on hand meeting and helping constituents.”
Congressman Emanuel Cleaver, II (MO-5) will be a special guest. “I am honored to have Congressman Cleaver join me for this town hall meeting. Congressman Cleaver, a distinguished member of Congress, spiritual leader and former two-term mayor of Kansas City, has dedicated his career to economic development and social concerns. We share many of the same ideas and thoughts for the growth and well being of our respective districts.”
