MEMPHIS – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that the Soulsville Foundation, the parent organization of the Stax Museum of American Soul Music, Stax Music Academy, and the Soulsville Charter School at the original site of legendary Stax Records, and the Blues City Cultural Center, will each receive a $150,000 grant awards from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA).

MEMPHIS – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that a Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program operated by the Community Alliance for the Homeless will receive an additional $86,929 from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), raising the total award to $3,819,948. The original grant award was announced in September.

MEMPHIS – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that the University of Memphis will receive a grant of $3,806,815 from the National Science Foundation for scholarships to train a regional cybersecurity workforce. The project, "CyberCorps Scholarship for Service: Developing the Cybersecurity Workforce in West Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas," is under the direction of Department of Computer Science Assistant Professor Kan Yang.
