WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that Memphis will receive $ $14,579,939 and Shelby County will receive $1,603,845 in funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Both Memphis and Shelby County will receive Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding totaling $6.7 million and $1.1 million respectively and HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) funding totaling $3.7 million and $430,000 respectively.

WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09), a senior member of the Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe (CSCE), also known as the Helsinki Commission, today participated in an international virtual meeting of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe's Parliamentary Assembly and spoke of the need for repressive governments to promote freedom.

WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen, a senior member of the House Judiciary Committee and its Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism and Homeland Security today questioned expert witnesses in a hearing on "The Rise of Domestic Terrorism in America."
