MEMPHIS, TN – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has awarded Tennessee $3,722,177 in new federal funds to replace the Memphis Airways Bridge over Nonconnah Creek at the same location as a result of bridge scour and erosion.

Lynn Evans, CPA, has been nominated to the Board of Directors of the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) by President Obama pending U.S. Senate approval.
