Congressman Cohen Applauds $1.01 Million Grant to Le Bonheur Community Health and Well-Being

WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-9) today announced a $1,018,872 grant to Le Bonheur Community Health and Well-Being to provide health services under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Service’s Delta States Rural Development Network Grant Program. Last week, Congressman Cohen announced a smaller planning grant to Le Bonheur Community Health and Well-Being to develop a rural health care network.

Congressman Cohen made the following statement:

“The goal in creating and operating an integrated and collaborative rural health care network is to achieve efficiencies, expand access, improve quality of care and generally strengthen the rural health care system. I’m pleased Le Bonheur Community Health and Well-Being is stepping up to strengthen the rural health care network that is so critically needed in our region.”
