WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-9), a senior member of the Judiciary Committee, today introduced the Volume II Transparency Act, requiring disclosure of Volume II of Special Counsel Jack Smith’s report on the classified documents retained by Donald Trump that a federal judge in Florida has sealed.

MEMPHIS – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-9) today announced four more National Institutes of Health (NIH) grants, totaling $1,191,875, to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The announcement follows $2.4 million in NIH research grants reported on Monday.

MEMPHIS – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-9) today announced four grants totaling $2,436,508 from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for work at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

MEMPHIS – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-9), a senior member of the Judiciary Committee, today condemned President Trump’s executive order on Tuesday that seeks to interfere with state election laws and procedures involving the eligibility of voters in federal elections.

The order purports to direct the Department of Homeland Security to create a “state citizenship list” based on data from citizenship and naturalization records, Social Security records and other federal databases.
