WASHINGTON – Congressmen Steve Cohen (TN-09) and Don Beyer (VA-08), along with co-sponsors and tax reform advocates, will hold a press conference on Thursday after introducing the President's Billionaires Minimum Income Tax. This bill would enact President Biden's proposal for a minimum income tax on the very wealthiest taxpayers. WASHINGTON – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that St. Jude Children's Research Hospital will receive two grants from the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and a third from the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS). One of the NCI grants, for $444,265, will support research into acute lymphoblastic leukemia. The other NCI grant, for $227,140, will underwrite training in pediatric immunotherapy.
