[WASHINGTON, DC] – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09), Ranking Member of the House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution and Civil Justice, today introduced a Resolution of No Confidence in President Donald J. [MEMPHIS, TN] – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today sent a letter to Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam urging him to request assistance from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for the City of Memphis and Shelby County in response to the historic storm that hit the Mid-South region on Saturday night. The storm caused significant property damage to homes and businesses and left nearly 190,000 residents without power, including tens of thousands whose power has still not been restored.

[WASHINGTON, D.C.] — Congressman Steve Cohen (D-TN), a member of the Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe (Helsinki Commission), and Congressman John Shimkus (R-IL), Co-Chair of the House Baltic Caucus and member of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, introduced a bipartisan resolution today expressing strong support for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and the countries of Eastern Europe.

[WASHINGTON, DC] – Congressman Steve Cohen (D-TN), Congressman Adam Kinzinger (R-IL), Congressman Tony Cárdenas (D-CA) and Congresswoman Ann Wagner (R-MO) today introduced the Stop, Observe, Ask and Respond (SOAR) to Health and Wellness Act. This bipartisan legislation would provide health care professionals at all levels training on how to identify and appropriately treat human trafficking victims. It is a companion to a Senate bill also introduced today by Senators Heidi Heitkamp (D-ND) and Susan Collins (R-ME).
