[WASHINGTON, DC] – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09), Ranking Member of the House Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution and Civil Justice, today commended Senators Cory Gardner (R-CO) and Ron Wyden (D-OR) along with Johnny Isakson (R-GA), Jeff Merkley (D-OR), Orrin Hatch (R-UT), and Michael Bennet (D-CO) for introducing the bipartisan Therapeutic Hemp Medical Access Act of 2015.
[MEMPHIS, TN] – At the Shelby County Health Department’s 2015 Infant Mortality Summit this morning, Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) discussed his efforts to reduce the rate of infant mortality in Memphis as well as highlighted a new health clinic in Raleigh funded in part by the Affordable Care Act. The Congressman also highlighted provisions of the Affordable Care Act that can help Memphians keep themselves, their families, and their communities healthy.
[MEMPHIS, TN] – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) announced today that the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis was awarded a total of $1,885,417 in federal grant funding for six different research projects.
“These significant federal investments will help keep Memphis and the UT Health Science Center at the forefront of the medical research community,” said Congressman Cohen.
