WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has awarded the University of Memphis $457,290 for alcohol research programs. The funds will be distributed via the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA).

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has awarded the University of Tennessee Health Science Center $367,249 for clinical research related to neurological disorders. The new federal funds will be administered by the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS).
