[WASHINGTON, D.C.] – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced Memphis Area Transit Authority (MATA) has been awarded a $4,273,771 grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Transit Administration 5339(c) Bus and Bus Facilities Competitive Program. These funds will be used to replace, rehabilitate and purchase buses and related equipment and to construct bus-related facilities.

[MEMPHIS, TN] – Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-09) today announced that Memphis International Airport received a $12,395,583 Airport Improvement Program grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation for the modernization of Concourse B, improvement of the access road and security enhancements.
“Memphis International Airport is a critically important transportation link in the Mid-South region,” said Congressman Cohen. “This funding will help the airport continue to make upgrades to serve travelers safely and efficiently for many years to come.”
